Viewings & Reservation Having identified a property that you would like to view please contact us either by e-mail or phone. On completion of our application form together with payment of the application fee the property will be reserved and the agreement should be signed within seven to ten working days of us having recieved your initial application
After this period, if the contract has not been signed by the Tenant(s), the Landlord reserves the right to offer the property to other prospective tenants. In this situation and that of adverse referencing the application fee would be non-refundable. We are not be able to cancel the performance of these services as they have begun with the referencing of you as the prospective tenant(s). This is done with your clear written agreement first.
All Applications are Subject to Status & Contract
Fees We charge an application fee of £115.00 inc. VAT. This fee is on a non-returnable basis, even if a tenancy is refused on the grounds of references or if the tenant withdraws from taking the property. Where there are more than two tenants an additional £60 per tenant inc. VAT will be charged. A fee of £30.00 including VAT is charged to the tenant for renewal of all fixed term tenancies.
References A comprehensive Homelet Plc form must be completed by all prospective tenants giving full details of the following: - Your Bank, Current/Recent Landlord, Current Employer, Personal Referee. In some cases a guarantor may be required, in which case they will also need to complete an application form when requested.
Deposit/Bond The amount of Deposit required for any property is indicated within the description of the property on our listing(s). The Deposit is held by DPS in a custodial scheme on all new tenancies created. No interest will be paid to the tenant on this deposit. The Deposit is returnable in full at the end of the term subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property (Subject to Contract).
